Important Dates for November

** Tuesday November 3rd will be a specials day only.

** Wednesday November 4th there is no school.

** Parent Teacher Conferences will be on November 4th.

** First Trimester ends November 24th.

** Thanksgiving break November 25 - 27.

 Schedule change for week of November 2- 6 only

 This Tuesday November 3rd will be the day to work on specials. 

Please visit each teacher’s Google Classroom, and once you do the

work or watch the video remember to “turn in” or submit the work for

that day. 

On Wednesday November 4th there are no class assignments.

Students can enjoy their day off!

Halloween Fun🎃🎃

Please be aware that the school asks that children do not wear 

their Halloween costumes to school on Thursday and Friday, 

October 29^th and 30^th.   Instead the kindergarten and first 

grade classes have decided to have a pajama day.  Your child is 

welcome to wear their PJ's and bathrobes to school and bring 

slippers to wear.  Please remember that we will still have recess 

so warm outdoor clothing will be needed.  We will be providing a 

special treat for the kids that day.  Thank-you for your help!

Wednesday's Work = Special's Day🖌🎵🏃😁💻

Please remember that Wednesday is the day to complete the work

 or activities from Art, Music, PE,  Guidance, and Computer.  Each

of these teachers have a Google Classroom, and it can be reached right 

from the Google Classroom App on the iPads.  

 Parent Teacher Conference 

We will be having virtual Parent Teacher Conferences on Wednesday 

November 4th from 8:00 to 8:00.  The conferences will be 15 minutes long.

Once you have signed up I will be sending you a Google Meet invite.  When you 

receive the invite please accept it, so I know we are all set to meet at that time.

New resource

We have introduced the kiddos to the reading program called Epic.  This is a wonderful 

resource with many many amazing books. 

Here are a few really important things to remember about epic....

1. Pod 1 accessed epic through Google, but now the app has been added for 

easier access.

2. Our class code is.  pci7595

3. The hours of free use are limited when students are 

at home, and it is thought that when students reach the 

limit, the website will prompt them to enter a credit card number. 

Parents please NEVER do this!

 Happy Friday!

Both Pod 1 and Pod 2  practiced taking a photo with iPads and 

submitting it or turning it in. They all thought it was pretty cool to see 

their assignment "pop up" in my Google Classroom.  

They set up their Math program profile and successfully 

found and viewed their first video.  

Thank you for taking using the attendance form on remote days.

I also want to say how proud I am of how responsible the students

are being with the iPads.  😁
