I am so very excited to have you as one of my Fantastic First Graders. We are going to do so many fun things, and of course we will learn a lot. I am anxious to learn with you every day!

Want to know a little more about me…. I LOVE teaching, and this is my 26th year! Here is a little secret….first grade is my favorite grade!  SHHHH๐Ÿ˜‰

Here are some of my favorites -

Colors - blue & yellow

Food - pizza and ice cream

Book - any by Mo Willems or Chris Van Dusen & Charlotte’s Web (I love books)

Hobby - reading, walking, shopping (I love Target๐Ÿ˜‰),watching my children play        sports(especially basketball๐Ÿ€)

I love - *My son, Bryce! He will be a senior at University of Maine.

*My daughter, Mallory! She is an 8th grader, and she is 13.

*My husband, Chris and our dog Jack!

Here is a little summer “homework” for you.  On the first day of school…...

Please bring in 1 thing that is special to you, or tells about YOU!                              Here are the rules…

  1. It must fit in your backpack.

  2. Be ready to share something about this object.

I look forward to meeting you and sharing this journey called first grade with you.  See you soon! ๐Ÿ“•๐Ÿ“–๐Ÿ–Š๐ŸŽ’
