Dear First Graders
Welcome back to a brand new school year! I hope your summer break has been exciting and full of adventures with family and friends. I can not wait to hear all about it.
I am so very excited to have you as one of my Fantastic First Graders.We are going to do so many fun things, and of course we will learn a lot. I am anxious to learn with you every day!
Want to know a little more about me…. I LOVE teaching, and this is my 25th year! Here is a little secret….first grade is my favorite grade! SHHHH😉
Here are some of my favorites -
Colors - blue & yellow
Food - pizza and ice cream
Book - any by Mo Willems or Chris Van Dusen & Charlotte’s Web (I love books)
Hobby - reading, walking, shopping (I love Target😉),watching my children play sports(especially basketball🏀)
I love - *My son, Bryce! He will be a junior at Saint Anselm College.
*My daughter, Mallory! She is a 7th grader, and she is 12.
*My husband, Chris and our dog Jack!
Here is a little summer “homework” for you. On the first day of school…...Please bring in 1 thing that is special to you, or tells about YOU! Here are the rules…
It must fit in your backpack.
Be ready to share something about this object.

Box of 24 crayons (no bigger please)
Box of 8 - 10 markers (no bigger please)
Glue sticks ( we use a lot of these)
Pencils (Ticonderoga sharpen the best)
Small scissors
**Please send in your supplies in a Ziploc baggie or plastic bag. We have special pencil boxes/desk organizers to keep our supplies in. Students do not need a folder. We have some special home to school folders for our Fantastic First Grade Year.😊
